Do you have a baby, toddler or small children, and wish holidays for the family weren't so daunting or stressful?  Do you avoid booking holidays abroad because you know your luggage allowance will never enable you to take everything you need for your baby / toddler, and if it did, it would not fit into a suitcase anyway?  If you have children and like holidays abroad in a climate that has on average 300 days of sunshine, in a location where children of all ages are welcome, then The Quintassential is definitely of interest to you.

The Quintassential is owned and run by a family with a small child that understand the needs of families and provide a relaxing, safe, yet fun filled holiday destination. Located in the Central Algarve, and only a 2 hour flight from London, the Quintassential provides 4 holiday rental accommodations with wi-fi internet access, 2 kms north of the market town of Loule, in the Central Algarve, Portugal.

The Algarve has something for every member of the family, from water parks to world famous golf courses, from historical buildings to designer shops located in open air malls, from zoos to beautiful countryside walks and the Algarve has some of the most beautiful beaches Europe has to offer with clean, golden sand beaches.  There are also plenty of restaurants that just love catering for little ones. Children are adored and well catered for.  Food is good, with plenty of simple chicken and fish dishes - ideal for the under-fives. Driving around the Algarve you will also come across some charming old villages steeped in history – discover a little of the real Algarve.

We offer two one bedroom accommodations and a large two bedroom apartment cottage suitable for babies and toddlers. The accommodations are home from home, equipped with all the necessary baby paraphernalia, basic domestic products, bed linen and towels, so you don’t have to spend hours shopping, packing and setting up home on arrival. 

We also have another one bedroom rustic cottage, but this is for adults only – ideal of grandparents, aunts and uncles or the child minder. All the accommodations are fitted and furnished to a high standard and attention to detail has been thorough.  We provide comfortable holiday accommodation for families with babies, toddlers and older children, creating a home from home environment in an ideal holiday location.

The Quintassential are pleased to offer a babysitting/child minding service for guests staying at The Quintassential with small children who would like a day out or a night out or a quiet dinner.

Emma Ladbrook who is English speaking and a friend of the family also has a young son herself, she has a BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing (caring services) and has been qualified for the past 13 years.

She has experience in looking after children from birth to 13 years of age, has been a private nanny and worked in nursery schools.

The charge per hour is 10 Euros and Emma will require 24 hours notice.  For bookings less than 24 hours, please ask as Emma maybe able to accommodate and will make an effort to.

Payment to be made on the night direct to Emma in cash (Euros)

There is a cancellation charge of 10 Euros

For late returns, Emma will charge time and a half from the end of the time originally booked.

Bookings can be made prior to your arrival if required, or following your arrival.

The exclusive Baby Welcome Pack service is designed to reduce the stress of travelling with young children, reduce the amount of extra luggage needed and eliminate the difficulty of searching for familiar baby products in another country. 

Little Rascals is based in the central Algarve and stocks a wide range of UK baby products. The Welcome Pack will be delivered free to your accommodation at the Quintassential prior to your arrival. 

Due to the recent changes in baggage allowance by many of the airlines, Little Rascals also hire Travel Cots, Car Seats and Push Chairs.
